Registration Details:
Interested in registering for more than one Run Stillwater event at the same time? The registration system lets you do just that. Watch for that option within the registration process.
Only one person may register at a time because we need to ensure we have all the correct safety information and a separate waiver for each race participant.
All registrations are sent an email confirmation to the address provided during sign-up. If you have a Run Stillwater account or created one when you registered, you may also log in to see the races for which you are registered.
Please note the registration process also asks for the runner email address. Future communications about a race event will be sent to the runner email provided, which may be different than the primary email associated with a registration.
“Processing” means your order is set and you’re ready for the event in the future. No worries; we’ve got you.
All registered participants will be sent an email Thursday before the race with your bib number and details about logistics, directions, etc. Watch for it and save info@runstillwater.com to help ensure it doesn’t end up in spam. If you do not receive it, you can look up your bib number at packet pickup. In the meantime, you can find all the information you may need on the race’s webpage HERE.
Registration is open for all races beginning in October the previous year. At this time, the field of runners is not limited in number. For each race:
Registration for all Run Stillwater races is nontransferable and nonrefundable.

Race day (July 27), 5:30 a.m.

NOTE: Runners will receive an email Thursday, July 25 with their bib number information. Remember this number. You will need it to pick up your packet.
Picking Up Someone Else’s Packet
Yes, you may pick up another runner’s packet. Pleases agree amongst yourselves in advance so there is no confusion.
Packet Pickup can be a very busy place and resolving a missing bib can be time-consuming. (For the record, Run Stillwater has never simply lost a bib.)
If you paid for the Mail-My-Packet option, you can expect your packet to arrive within two weeks of race day. See the Race Pricing Schedule for specific mailing date information.
Changing Your Distance
Injured or feeling so fit you want to run further? You may change your distance at packet pickup. For guests moving to a longer distance, you’ll just pay the difference to move up to the longer distance. There’s no charge for moving to a shorter distance. Just pick up your packet as usual and bring it to the In-Person/Changes table to make the switch.
Shirt Exchange
You may exchange your unworn shirt for a different size after the race. Shirts are ordered based on the sizes specified at the time of registration. To ensure everyone gets the size requested, exchanges can be made after the race. Staff remains at Packet Pickup at the Water Street Inn until approximately 10:45 a.m.
Slow runners and walkers are welcome provided you maintain progress on the course and do not deviate from the course. The Half Marathon course has a four-hour time limit. Stopping is not allowed for any other reason except a medical condition, hydration and/or to use the restroom, and will mean disqualification from the race and the possibility that race support will no longer be available.
Parking Information:
The city of Stillwater uses Passport Parking technology in most downtown parking areas. Kiosks are available to pay for parking or use the Passport Parking mobile app to make parking fast and easy. See the map for locations and check the city’s parking information for details about days and hours when fees are required.

Check area signage before you leave your vehicle. The city’s parking information has additional details about days and hours when fees are required.

The St. Croix Crossing race will have pacers, provided by Midwest Pacers, for all half marathon participants to help runners reach their race day goals.

Weather Considerations:
Runner safety is our number one priority. The race will occur rain or shine. We have direct contact with the National Weather Service in the Twin Cities and rely on their forecasts in making decisions concerning weather and race-day conditions. The decision to postpone or cancel an event is not subjective; it is based on current and forecasted conditions and WetBulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) provided by the National Weather Service in Shakopee, Minnesota, which monitors weather for us based on the latitude and longitude of the course.
Weather conditions that may prompt consideration of postponement or cancelation include the following:
There will be over 65 course marshals and public safety officers stationed around the course to guide runners in good weather and bad.
Post Race Information:
Race results are available in near real-time at www.mtecresults.com after the race.
Celebrate your victory with breakfast – available for purchase at the Water Street Inn. Come to relax and refuel after a great race!
