Run Stillwater 2026: Donation for Volunteer Staffing!

Run Stillwater is pleased to continue our “Donation for Volunteer Staffing” program in 2026!

Non-profit groups – school organizations, sports teams, scouting, booster clubs, youth groups, etc. – are invited to help staff an area at any of our five races in return for a donation to your group. This is a fun, team-building opportunity to raise some money, enjoy each other’s company, cheer on runners of all ages and provide a much-needed service for the events.

We provide all the equipment, supplies and instructions you’ll need. You bring the number of people indicated in each sign-up and your enthusiasm. After the race, we’ll support your nonprofit organization with a donation for your help! Many of our volunteer groups come back year after year but there’s always room for more.

We know fundraising is not easy. This is a way to have fun, work together as a group and get everyone involved without hitting up the grandparents and neighbors again and again. Join us!

Here is how it works:

• Be your organization’s volunteer coordinator. This opportunity is for nonprofit groups only, and we are not able to accommodate single contributors at this time
• Go to Sign up Genius by clicking the race logos above to see what slots are available for each event you are interested in
• You’ll see the number of people needed and the donation you’ll receive for helping out
• Requirements for each position, if any, are shown in Sign-up Genius (e.g., age, ability to lift, etc.). More information about duties, report times and locations will be finalized and provided closer to the race date
• Choose your opportunity and reserve it online
• Gather your people. By signing up, you are responsible for gathering the number of people required to participate and committing to make sure your spot is covered on that day
• We encourage each group to “wear your colors” and promote your organization. We’ll help awareness of your group with a listing and link (if available) on our website
• Watch for reminders and more information and details as your volunteer day approaches
• After the event, Run Stillwater will send a check made out directly to the nonprofit organization you indicate in your sign-up
